Pre Sales Solution Manager

Contract

Location: Flexible + UK wide travel

Position Purpose

The Pre Sales Manager role provides E2E Solution expertise to the Country team and their customers during the bid and deployment phases of Private Mobile Network projects.

The Pre-Sales Manager will participate in the pre-bid stage, developing technical proposals, consultations with strategic partners/vendors, offering preparation, and presenting compelling solutions to customers and key stakeholders. This role involves analysing complex business challenges, translating them into innovative technical proposals, and ensuring tailored and optimal solutions that address industry vertical, customer challenges and align with their strategic objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead customer Private Network solution development and design
  • Collaborate with the sales and technical experts to gather customer requirements and understand their business objectives - design innovative solutions based on customer needs that align with our current and future offerings within the private 5G network domain
  • Translating customer and operational requirements into E2E Private Network High Level Solution Architectures for Private Cellular Networks.
  • Prepare and present high-quality technical proposals and clear presentations during the pre-bid stage.
  • Work on offer preparation and presentations during the bidding phase and effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions to customers
  • Building strong relationships with strategic partners, vendors, and go-to-market partners
  • To understand and implement the pricing of network/solution elements and contribute to cost budget preparation for projects
  • Generate pricing and bill of materials for technical solutions to feed into bids
  • Input into vendor & industry roadmaps across the Private Network ecosystem to ensure we can offer the best solutions and functionality to our customers.
  • Ensure company & industry standardisation and best practice are followed in the design of customer solutions.
  • Maintain relationships and information exchange with operational, Deployment Sales and Engineering teams.
  • The generation of E2E Solution Designs which include:

4G, 5GNSA & 5GSA Core Network design

4G, 5GNSA & 5GSA RAN design

IP Transport (Core & Backhaul) IP design

Device & Use-Case design

  • Provide expert technical advice on Private Network functionality, performance & Implementation, including complex migrations.

Jobs to be done (for the next c. 12-24 months)

  • Support short lead time & ITT responses.
  • Successfully handle and managed all key stakeholder through the pre-bid and bidding phase responsibilities
  • Effectively identify, recommend, and design solutions for customer needs that align with emerging telecommunications trends and our offering
  • Serving as the technical liaison between the sales and Principal Solutions Architects and strengthening the customer and partner relationships
