Claims Manager - FinPro
London - 3 days on site, the rest remote working
£150,000.00 per annum + benefits

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Claims Manager to join a leading specialty insurer and reinsurer.

The successful candidate will have management responsibility for IML lines of business (DI, D&O, PI) in the International FinPro claims team and will work with Underwriters, brokers and customers to provide excellent Claims service. The role holder will assist the Global Head of FinPro Claims in the management of the FinPro portfolio.

Knowledge

* Extensive and relevant knowledge of Claims in appropriate area
* Good working knowledge of company systems, relevant Lloyd's claims systems and workings of Lloyd's market
* Understanding of class specific Claims knowledge
* Thorough understanding of our Claims Strategy and how this translates into operational targets and delivery.

Skills

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent organisational and people management skills.
* Able to work independently.
* Proficient in MS Office applications; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Able to manage conflicting priorities to achieve deadlines.
* Ability to plan effectively and efficiently.
* Strong customer orientation skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Experience

* In depth experience of working in a Claims environment within a specialized/complex Claims area
* Graduate level or equivalent
* Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute (or equivalent) or significant Lloyd's market experience
* Experience of successfully supporting technical and operational strategy
* Experience of working as part of a senior team within a multi-national insurance environment
* Experience of managing Claims teams/resources
