Position Summary:The Wound/Ostomy Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for development, coordination, and monitoring of the hospital's Wound/Ostomy Program. The Wound/Ostomy Nurse establishes standards of care and clinical competencies to meet patient needs, and staff training to ensure clinical expertise. The Wound/Ostomy Nurse works collaboratively with the medical staff, and provides education to patients, caregivers, and staff on wound, ostomy, and continence care.

The Hospital will pay a referral bonus any RN who refers an experienced RN (defined as an RN with a minimum of one year acute care experience). The referring RN and the referred RN must be employed by the Hospital twelve (12) months from the hire date of the referred RN.
- Valid California RN license.
- Current BCLS certification.
- WOCN or Wound Certification
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- BSN, MSN Preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years acute care hospital experience in area of specialty.
