Adecco is currently assisting a national client in its search for a Channel Marketing Manager to assist their Bloomington location over the next 3-4 months. The Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing marketing strategy at the channel level, as well as developing initiatives with key retailers to contribute in achieving company goals through top products. This position is both internally and externally facing. The Channel Marketing Manager will act as the marketing hub between sales, product management and brand marketing. Job Duties:
  • Develop, implement and track marketing programs with key retailers driving achievement of revenue, sell through and market share goals
  • Ensure all channel programs are executed correctly, including compliance with company guidelines for content, style, logo usage and messaging
  • Generate promotional ideas for regional accounts that drive company strategic initiatives
  • Assist in sales in developing retail and online activities that drive the strategic direction set by the marketing team
  • Act as single point of contact for marketing efforts in the channel
  • Work with Trade Marketing to create proper ROI and consolidate after-action reviews including empirical data as well as anecdotal feedback for use in future planning
  • Manage budgets, content development process, audit and payment cycle for promotional activities
  • Develop and obtain approval for annual calendar of promotional activities
  • Coordinate local and corporate resources in implementing annual plan
  • Provide strategic guidance to account sales teams in formulating annual MDF plan
  • Extend company consumer marketing programs through the point of sale to maximize impact
  • BS or BA in Marketing or related expertise, MBA a plus
  • 5-10 years of experience in a closely related capacity, including project management
  • Demonstrated capability to create high impact channel marketing programs, obtain buy in from both retailers and internal stakeholders and manage through execution
  • Advanced understanding of digital marketing including content creation, media and performance tracking
  • Ability to set KPI's for promotional programs, track performance against objectives and report on ROI metrics
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with cross functional internal stakeholders as well as customers
