SAP SD (OTC) Support Consultant - English Speaking - West London, UK. Flexible Start Date: Sept-Nov 2019. Salary - up to £65,000 per annum! + Many Great Company Benefits.

Our international end-client in West London, UK is currently looking for an SAP SD/OTC (Sales and Distribution/Order-to-Cash) Support Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis.

You will be acting as the SAP OTC support lead, business facing across business units, to support, develop and deliver solutions, participating in business requirements gathering, solution design, application configuration, system testing, solution implementation, and training end user adoption.

Key Responsibilities:
* Own and manage Level 3 Support incidents and service requests within the SAP OTC team
* Provide guidance to OTC Level 2 Support team members as/when required
* Change request and solution design, translating requirements into functional specifications to deliver global solutions
* Identifying options for potential solutions, assessing them for business suitability and presenting proposals to business users
* Close cooperation with our internal clients, SAP teams and Application teams to ensure the SAP Finance system meets existing critical needs as well as evolving business requirements
* Working closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
* Drawing up a testing schedule and oversee the implementation of a new functionality and enhancements
* Leading mini projects which originate as a result of issues/tickets being logged and/or business driven
* Other duties as support/project demand including training

Knowledge and Experience:
Mandatory
* Established as an SAP SD (OTC) Analyst with proven experience of supporting and delivering complex international SAP enterprise environments with specific experience in Sales Orders and Billing integration with FI
* Commercially minded - able to competently follow business discussions and interpret system needs in both an operational & financial context
* Proven experience SAP SD configuration and customizing through SPRO, and understanding of transport landscape
* Experience with in/outbound integrations to SAP including BDC, BAPI, IDOC
* Team lead experience with distributed offshore teams and multi-resource projects
* Experience of working in a support organisation

Desirable
* Experience working on other SAP modules, in particular FICO
* Exposure to IT Helpdesk ticketing system

Required Skills:
Mandatory
* Strong configuration and testing skills with business oriented and process-oriented background
* Must be able to set priorities, adjust to business-driven changes quickly, firmly commit to tasks and meet deadlines and apply problem-solving techniques to application, environment, and data issues
* Ability to synthesize complex ideas into workable solutions
* Ability to effectively communicate the implications of complex technical concepts to senior, non-technical audiences.
* Excellent Stakeholder engagement
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desirable
* Understanding of ABAP, debug and LSMW
* High level understanding of BW/BPC
* Some understudying of S/4HANA
* Ticketing tool
* SAP SD Certification
