Head of Continuous Improvement

Location: Milton Keynes, with some UK travel

Working for one of the leading alternative providers of wholesale fibre infrastructure in the UK. This company deploy next generation digital infrastructure to the public sector, businesses community, mobile operators and homes.

In what is quite a traditional market, this company are a real disruptor and they have grand plans!

You will be accountable for implementing the Continuous Improvement framework and culture across the organisation. You will prioritise, mobilise and implementing the Continuous Improvement change delivery agenda on behalf of the PMO function in order to realise the company's strategic plan.

You will do this in a way that delivers robust and sustainable improvements and drives continuous improvement into the culture and corporate DNA.


You will be responsible for mobilising effective resources, you will deliver strategic and tactical continuous improvements and operational change activity, embedding and sustaining the strategy. You will have in-depth experience working in a strategic leadership, change management, customer/business transformation environment. Proven experience in a senior capacity, delivering major change programmes/projects into an operational environment through process, people, communications and cultural levers.

You should possess an expert understanding of CI principles & frameworks and have proven experience of implementing these frameworks across enterprise organisations as well as measuring the successful outcomes / benefits of these improvements.

Crucially, you will be driving a culture of Continuous Improvement and will be experienced in making sustainable change within challenging timeframes and engaging with the most senior partners in the organisation.

You will be able to make decisions utilising commercial, customer and business insight to drive the performance of the business and will have the ability to understand the key levers that drive breakthrough improvements.

You will be a strong process thinker with the ability to oversee the linkage between strategy and business processes, in addition to delivery and operational reality
A desirable background would be a good appreciation of the UK Telecoms Construction Market and fundamental drivers (including regulatory requirements).

Overall, you'll be strong leader who is able to engage, motivate and build positive relationships and who is passionate about making it better for the business and our customers.
