Sales & Marketing Executive

This is a superb opportunity for a confident sales and marketing professional to engage in a varied role encompassing all aspects of B2B sales and marketing.
Reporting to the directors the successful candidate will be responsible for all sales & marketing activities associated with a professional engineering / manufacturing business who specialise in design and build of bespoke rail transportation systems for a global client base.
Duties will include but is not limited to the following;
Effectively process all incoming sales leads from receipt to closure
Establish excellent relationships with new and existing clients as required to stimulate increased sales
Utilise company CRM systems and produce regular sales reports/updates
Manage / arrange / plan / attend exhibitions worldwide (4-5 per annum)
Develop and maintain proactive marketing activities including social media, website, e-shots, technical publications and brochures etc etc.
Prepare and submit pricing & tender submissions & presentations
Manage trade affiliations / accreditation and memberships
Co-ordinating sales / projectsThe position require a 60%/40% split between sales & marketing.
You will have previous experience in a similar sales and marketing role. Ideally you will have a good understanding of mechanical engineering.
You will be a confident networker and will display the qualities associated with a successful sales and marketing professional.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and you will be capable of maintaining / updating all social media, website, brochures etc etc.
Applicants will have good PowerPoint presentation skills. You will have a positive and outgoing personality with the ability to communicate at all levels.
Hours of work:
8am to 5pm - early finish on Friday
Competitive basic salary + Bonus
28 days holiday (increasing to 31 days)
