Position Information
The Mgr, Clinical Nutrition and Food Services at Cary Hospital is responsible for the management of all facets of Food and Nutrition Services. Assists the director in managing the operating and financial outcomes for the services of the department, including patient food services and all patient nutrition care activities. Oversees department operations and ensures that all activities are performed in a professional, organized, quality and customer oriented manner. Manages staff in accordance with policies and procedures, WakeMed values, appropriate professional standards and legal requirements. Develops staff and empowers staff to make decisions and provide input to processes that will enhance customer satisfaction. Maintains effective quality management and performance improvement program. Participates in strategic planning and program development for the departments. Responsible for developing and implementing the dietetic interns experience.


Experience Requirements :
3 Years Management - Direct Area of Responsibility Required - And 4 Years Clinical - Dietitian/Nutritionist Required
Education Required :
Bachelor's Degree Food and Nutrition Required - And Master's Degree Health Administration Preferred
Licensure/Certification Requirements :
Commission of Dietetic Registration Required - And Licensed Dietitian Required
Hours of Work : Varies, M-F 5am - 8pm. Weekends as needed
Weekend Requirements : As Needed
Call Requirements : As Needed
