The Goddard School in the Highlands is currently seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator one of our toddler classrooms.We have three teachers in each of our classrooms, so this is a co-teaching position, working with two other teachers and ten students. We truly value this three-teacher model as it allows our teachers the flexibility to plan their own breaks and lunches. It also allows our faculty to have time out of the classroom to work on lesson planning or even just go to the restroom when they need to. Having three consistent teachers in the classroom creates consistency for our students and flexibility for our faculty.At the Goddard School in the Highlands, we care deeply about our teachers and want the best for them. We are looking for patient and passionate teachers with a strong ambition to be the best teacher possible.To further support our faculty, we also provide:* We have incredibly low teacher turnover and rarely have teaching positions open at our school. This position is open because one of our teachers was recently promoted to be a second director within the school.* We have a contract with a licensed Behavioral Analyst to support our faculty with any developmental or behavioral needs in the classroom.* We have three curriculum support teachers available to assist with lesson planning ideas or any other curriculum related questions.* Three teacher teams in each classroom* Paid lesson planning time during school hours* We conduct 90 day and annual reviews with all faculty members. This is a way to provide two-way feedback about employee performance as well as give feedback on the school operations.* Paid training hours and opportunities for continuing education, including admission to the annual Rocky Mountain Early Childhood Convention (RMECC)Some of the financial benefits we provide include:* Health care reimbursement of $200 per month* 8-10 paid holidays each year, including two paid days for both Thanksgiving and 4th of July* Up to 12 days of PTO (sick and vacation), in addition to holiday pay* Holiday pay and PTO are available immediately upon hire* Tuition reimbursement or payment assistance for ECE classes.
