Lessard Design is seeking a Designer II!
GENERAL DESCRIPTION Responsible for generating new concepts and fresh ideas on a variety of project types to meet client requirements. Communicates and coordinates with consultants and computer graphics in developing and presenting conceptual design concepts. Function as a conduit between conceptual design process and architectural implementation.

  • Assist Senior Designer(s) in fostering high morale and production efficiency through close contact with all personnel
  • Coach design employees, answer questions, recommend resources and guide the design process
  • Ensure clear information exchange procedures that affect overall quality and performance
  • Assist Senior Designer(s) in establish format, drawing assignments, deliverables and schedules
  • Leadership capabilities in communications
  • Professional approach
  • Basic knowledge of Project Management
  • Working knowledge of allied design disciplines
  • Knowledge of professional ethics, as applied to architecture
  • Track record in successful design projects
  • Strong aesthetic sense and interest in the arts
  • Ability to work independently
  • General knowledge of building materials, detailing, construction techniques, related engineering principles, and building codes
  • Bachelor s degree of Architecture
  • 2-5 years experience in Architectural Design
  • Professional proficiency in Auto-CAD, REVIT, 3-D Modeling (3D Studio Max, Rendering, Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) Excel, Word, SketchUP
  • Experience in residential and commercial buildings
Requires excellent good oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate
Must be able to write reports and business correspondence in clear concise business English. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public in a professional, collegial manner.
