Corporate Finance Opportunity in Financial Services

Financial Analyst


Location: 7755 3rd Street North, Oakdale, MN 55128

Summary:

The Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting Advisor Group's Corporate Finance functions, which broadly encompasses financial analysis, recruiting economics, long-range planning, and M&A activities. The primary responsibility for this role will focus on the administration of the loan program.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for administering the loan program including creating repayable loan schedules, reviewing promissory notes and agreements for conformity with approved terms, submitting loan funding packages, and monitoring the funding process
  • Accurately inputs loan data into our core systems and creates loan files
  • Ensures the completeness of all loan documentation and electronically archives all loan documentation
  • Creates and provides reporting on loan program for multiple audiences, including executive leadership team
  • Monitors advisor terminations and coordinates collection efforts across business units
  • Works with Tax Department to ensure timely and accurate 1099 preparation
  • Answers inquiries from both external and internal customers regarding loan history, transactions, reconciliations, and tax reporting
  • Develops and maintains excellent relationships with colleagues across business units
  • May be required to assist on moderate to complex special projects
  • All other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field required

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in finance
  • Solid financial and business management foundation
  • Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience and interest in working in financial/reporting systems (Workday, SABOS, Caesar)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Analytical skills including the ability to identify key trends and drivers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated with demonstrated experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
  • Self-starter who will anticipate challenges and work proactively to resolve issues
  • Team player with customer service mentality

Preferred Requirements:

  • Prior financial services industry experience
