Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician assistant for our ED
1 Full Time position for
the right candidate.
Our ED sees roughly over
15,000 patients annually
Position Details: The Nurse Practitioner/PA is responsible for complete care
to stable patients in the ED. This includes treatment and referral for
treatment of acute/chronic, medical conditions and documentation of the same.
The NP or PA is also responsible for evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and
referrals using available technologies and therapeutics common to the ED, ie
lab test, imaging, and electrocardiograms. Procedures common to the ED and
primary care may also be performed by the NP or PA. The schedule will be
Candidates with previous
ED experience preferred.
Candidates must have
Emergency Medicine specific training and/or significant ED experience.
Graduate of accredited
Nurse Practitioner program is required, MS preferred.
One year primary care
Urgent care experience
Eligible for, or
currently licensed to practice with prescriptive authority in the State of
Eligible for or
currently certified by the American Nurses Association as an N.P. or the
approximately 80-85k per year.
