To plan, deliver and review the video analysis programme to meet the requirements of the Academy coaching staff and Players. To support systems that will enhance individual and collective performance and progression into 1stteam professional players at the football club. To offer players continual opportunity to review individual performance and areas to improve.
Report to the Head of Academy Video Analysis
Roles and responsibilities.
Ensure the academy are using similar data and reports as the 1st team squad to ensure continuity between all age groups and methods of reporting are of a similar understanding.
Oversee the academy performance analysis provision from under 9s to under 16s, ensuring staffing levels and correct games are videoed as required. Produce videos at all age groups in relation to the current coaching syllabus to support team and individual learning.
Create monthly videos demonstrating Best Practice from all academy games to use as evidence of continue improvement.
Create a potential scholar players diary showing clips of players who have excelled over the season and remain in the Pathway. Create and update a role model library for coaching staff to use to demonstrate good practice to others.
Compile and provide individual analysis for players considered in the Pathway from under 14s -16s.
Effectively measure coaches against statistical template ensuring coaching standards are measured in both training and games.
To video coaching sessions so Head of Coaching can analyse and monitor coaching standards.
To assist in the feedback to the Academy Manager on the success of our coaching based on statistical Reports.
To develop and maintain a coaches library showing best practice of sessions, CPD etc
Sports science degree or working towards. Any related qualifications linked to performance analysis. DBS.
Staff must be aware of all Safeguarding and Equity and Diversity issues, along with all Academy and Club policies, rules and regulations.
