Pediatric Intensive Care at Chippenham Hospital:
You will work closely with our team of highly skilled doctors, called pediatric intensivists, as you partner to provide the best possible care for our PICU patients. In addition to our pediatric intensivists, you will work with pediatricians, occupational, speech and respiratory therapists, registered dieticians, pharmacists and case managers/social workers, providing care for children needing a higher level of monitoring and care beyond what is provided by our skilled nurses in the Pediatric Unit.
We are the only pediatric hospital unit in South Richmond. Our 8-bed pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) is comfortable, spacious, and brightly decorated, and most importantly, designed around the comfort of our patients and their families. It is a wonderful environment which enables you to give critically ill children, or children requiring close observation, the specialized care they require.
Pediatric intensive care is truly special at Chippenham Hospital.
