Responsibilities This role is for an experienced IT support individual who can work in a fast-paced, service-oriented role for the Guidehouse IT team. You will be required to work closely with the DC and Mclean, VA based in-person staff to resolve the issues of Guidehouse s client service staff (in office and remote locations).

Your responsibilities would inclue (but are not limited to) the following:
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Troubleshooting conference room equipment
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Setting up accounts for new users
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Testing new technology
  • Possibly training more junior staff members
Qualifications Candidates should be expected to display:
  • Understanding of software, hardware, network and security technology
  • Understanding of IT policies and industry good operational support good practice (ITIL, VIP support)
  • Experience troubleshooting Cloud-based applications and technology (AWS, Azure, Citrix)
  • Experience with Skype for Business and/or Teams
  • Experience with ServiceNow or other incident, problem, and change management solution
  • Experience providing customer support via phone, chat, tickets, or in-person interactions
  • Experience working in a consulting environment is preferred
  • Experience supporting Microsoft O365 & Microsoft technologies (SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or SCCM a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Government Security Cloud High a plus
  • Experience with Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp, XenMobile, Netscaler and Receiver a plus
  • Experience with conference room equipment (Crestron, Projectors, Polycomm)
  • Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues
  • A technical, logical thought process
  • Tier 2 troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • An ability to stick to strict deadlines
  • An ability to prioritize and delegate
  • A keen eye for detail
Other Details:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Location - 1730 Pennsylvania Avenue
  • Hours: Mon-Fri 9am to 6pm, weekly on call rotation, typically 6-8 weeks
  • Staff Level - Sr Associate
  • Certifications Azure Cloud Fundamentals, Microsoft MCP, ITIL, A+, Net+ preferred
  • Degree - BS preferred
  • Years of Experience - 5 to 12

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching throughout the day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Candidate must be able to lift equipment up to 25lbs.
