Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Representative required to join a leading engineering supplier of electro mechanical products and services.

The successful Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Representative will work remote, covering Northants selling compressed air products & services such as compressors, nitrogen generators, blowers and dryers plus and more within the compressor industry, developing new business opportunites plus managing key accounts via distribution channels and OEM customers.

The successful Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Representative will ideally have B2B sales experience, ideally within engineering and a willingness to open business opportunities with a reputable engineering company. Full product training provided.

£30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Representative Role
Managing a number of key accounts via compressed air distribution channels and OEM customers for a product range consisting of compressors, vacuum pumps, dryers & filters and other similar pneumatic / compressed air related equipment in to various industries.
Manage and grow existing relationships and regular business development selling compressed air products and services.
Maintaining new compressor sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
Working closely with the compressed air Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Fully remote, covering Northants working out of the office near Corby when not on the road.

Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Representative Requirements
Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within engineering.
Compressor Service Engineers looking to come off the tools and progress in to a sales roles would also be of interest.
Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable engineering company.
A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
B2B sales experience, ideally within engineering and a willingness to open business opportunities with a reputable engineering company. Full product training provided.
Knowledge of the compressed air market such as compressors, vacuum systems, filtration, blowers & dryers, downstream equipment, nitrogen generators, MRO, Pumps, valves, rotating equipment or similar engineering products / services is advantageous.
Full clean driving license. Willingness to travel across Northants and commute to the office near Corby daily
