Job Description

The Supplier Risk Program Senior Manager leads a team responsible for strategic direction and oversight of enterprise supplier risk through the development, implementation, maintenance, and governance of supplier risk program. The role is responsible for planning, design governance and communication of the Supplier Risk results to ensure compliance to the framework. The role partners with key stakeholders across the organization to promote supplier risk value proposition and drive a customer centric mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible to lead the Supplier Risk and Performance Management Framework teams and tools designed to drive consistency in assessing, managing, reporting, and communicating risks across the enterprise to enhance value delivery
  • Directs ongoing development, updating and refinement and communication of the Supplier Risk Management policy, procedures and related process
  • Leads supplier risk assessments process, issues management remediation, attestation and contract reviews, reporting and risk contingency planning
  • Accountable to deliver KPIs by engaging with key stakeholders to make course corrections where necessary to deliver on targets
  • Oversee program management, including guidelines and processes for onboarding and offboarding vendors
  • dentifies operational reporting metrics and works with internal resources to design, develop, and implement reporting and improvement initiatives
  • Facilitates process walkthrough discussions to document end-to-end business processes and functional requirements
  • Accountable for adherence, reporting and corrective actions completion for all Supplier Risk Management policy and procedures

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • 10 or more years of related experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience; may also have advanced degree

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP), Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), or similar certification preferred

Functional Skills

  • Advanced ability to influence others to achieve results by thinking strategically, communicating clearly and fostering mutually beneficial internal and external relationships
  • Demonstrates a high-level understanding of relevant 3rd party supplier management and risk management processes and can apply breadth and depth of knowledge to engage in strategic conversations and decisioning

  • Advanced understanding of internal business processes, enterprise risk management, strategic direction and business objectives
  • Ability to think strategically, conceptually and analytically to assess problems, identify and consider potential solutions, and make timely recommendations

  • Advanced application of systems thinking requiring focus on constituent parts interrelated to how a system works over time and in relation to a larger system
  • Advanced ability to apply analytical skills and techniques to research, analyze, synthesize and integrate data/information
