ICW Group is looking for a Sr. Talent Associate to manage full life cycle recruitment for technical, professional and administrative positions for Corporate and Branch offices. You will coordinate workflow as needed with Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinator as it relates to staffing and assigned projects. Support HR initiatives so that goals are achieved efficiently and effectively.

About Your Job:

Talent Attraction

  • Recruit qualified candidates for technical, professional and administrative positions after discussing needs with Managers
  • Use the most efficient and effective method of recruiting based on the positions requirements
  • Write, place and maintain internal and external job postings for all positions including schools, professional organizations and other sources in alignment with Recruiting Plan
  • Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process
  • Pre-screen and recommend candidates to Hiring Manager
  • Lead Recruitment staff meetings to discuss updates, progress, process improvement ideas, or any other issues related to staffing
  • Provide relevant recruitment reports as required
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal clients at all levels in order to influence and coach on appropriate recruiting and hiring decisions
  • Develop a comprehensive recruiting and sourcing strategy, working closely with Talent Partners, based on departmental workforce plans and talent profiles.
  • Assist Talent Partners in creating job descriptions and work with Talent Coordinator and HR Operations to analyze, approve and process new jobs
  • Keep up-to-date on all applicable state and federal employment laws
  • Research legal changes as they occur and determine how they will impact the company
  • Establish auditing procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies and procedures
  • Create, change and implement employment processes based on new regulations or as needed
  • Develop or update HRSOPs
  • Create and maintain contacts within industry
  • Actively participates in networking groups and other business and community programs to increase skill knowledge
  • Actively participates in and main regular contact with possible future candidates
  • Develop and execute a personal time management plan

Candidate Management

  • Work with Talent Coordinator to schedule interviews, including booking rooms, travel arrangements as needed
  • Greet and escort candidates for all positions
  • Administer applicant testing
  • Work with Talent Coordinator to conduct reference and background checks for all positions
  • Review applicant information (ie background check results) prior to offer; notify Supervisor, Talent Acquisition of any areas of concern
  • Work with Talent Coordinator to generate offer letters
  • Send new hire paperwork to new employees
  • Work with Talent Coordinator to announce new hires to HR, IT, Facilities, Manager, Office Services, etc. and on iPortal
  • Work with Talent Coordinator to enter/validate new employees into HRIS
  • Work with Talent Coordinator to set-up Orientations (New Hire, Benefits, Ergonomics and other applicable); notify managers and new hires of orientation schedule in advance
  • Conduct new hire orientations as needed
  • Coordinate the placement of ad utilizing online job boards, internal job postings and school postings
  • Work with outside recruiter as necessary
  • Evaluate recruitment sources for effectiveness and cost

Team Member Process Management

  • Work with HR Advisor for the Visa process, including renewals for new and current employees
  • Handle all aspects of temporary employee placement: order temporaries, correspond with agencies, schedule interviews, oversee billings
  • Recruitment module system administration
  • Serve as the administrator for the Recruitment model of the HRIS system, working with the primary system administrator to configure and implement the features of the module effectively
  • Oversee the staff requisition workflow to ensure all approvals and necessary documentation is received for each position
  • Generate regular reporting from the module that provides usable decision making information and metrics to appropriate audiences
  • Maintain electronic and paper candidate files that include applications for each position, EEO/Applicant flow log, I9s and other required record keeping information
  • HR department administrative support
  • Support HR and Recruiting projects as necessary

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or a minimum of 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with technical recruiting in a corporate environment preferred. Experience using various Applicant Tracking Systems. Experience with technical recruiting in a corporate environment preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated good judgment; solid project management skills; competent in the use of technology and Microsoft Office applications. A wide degree of creativity, near- and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization is required. Exposure and desire to engage in social networking strategies to engage potential talent. Demonstrated skills in negotiating, multi-tasking, organization and execution; Current knowledge base of Recruiting best practices, California, federal and local labor laws relative to staffing; Sophisticated interpersonal skills that project a sense of optimism, can-do spirit and fun with the ability to adapt style depending on situation.
