Position Overview

At Autodesk, we are reinventing how everything you see or touch is imagined, designed and created. Our construction platform allows customers to effectively and easily manage the complex collaboration and coordination necessary to see their projects through all phases of construction.

If you are a software engineer with experience in web application development and enjoy working in a flexible, busy team with state-of-the-art technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Involved with all aspects of software development, working to create and maintain the most reliable, secure, and performing web applications for our customers.
  • Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues to iteratively turn high level requirements into product enhancements that are delivered to customers incrementally and continually.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Develop and maintain unit tests and Cypress tests; strive to automate testing as much as possible.
  • Understand, embrace, and promote Agile methodologies, principles, and values within the team.
  • Help maintain and grow a diverse, inclusive culture across the development community.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BSc in Engineering or Computer Science or related technology, but we are open to candidates who took other paths into the world of software engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience as a software developer using JavaScript, Typescript, React, HTML and CSS 3.
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript internals and fundamentals.
  • Experience with Front End testing frameworks (eg, Jest, Cypress).
  • Experience working on agile software projects with short release cycles.
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, empathetic, and great communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with C# and cloud infrastructure services such as Amazon Web Services is a plus.
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience as a scrum master or similar.
  • Experience with Mobx, Redux and Webpack.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and working with a deployment pipeline.
