An NCT / LMRT with Nightlight Pediatric Urgent Care will meet with the patient and their caregiver to discuss the patient s medical history and answer any questions they may have prior to imaging. Following this, they will position the patient and equipment in a way that protects the patient s safety. You will also need to be able to explain the X-ray procedure and positioning to parents that may be under high stress. Due to the young age of our patients, you will need to have experience with pediatric patient positioning using a Viztek Straight-Arm X-ray machine and soothing any fears or concerns of the young patient and their caregiver.
