The Client - My Client are a rapidly growing company in the leisure and hospitality sector, focusing on providing exceptional holiday experiences across the UK. Position Overview - As a CRM and Salesforce Solution Architect, you'll drive IT architecture strategy in line with business goals. Collaborating with stakeholders, you'll design and optimize systems. This role is key to the clients strategic projects, overseeing CRM/Salesforce solutions within project teams. Ideal candidates possess strong business, solution, and technology acumen, with skills in communicating architectural designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical and functional design for CRM and Salesforce solutions, collaborating closely with project delivery teams.
  • Maintain enterprise architecture standards and best practices aligned with organizational goals.
  • Design end-to-end solutions to address business needs and optimize system performance.
  • Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into architectural requirements.
  • Facilitate cross-team solution design discussions, evaluating options and conducting impact analyses.
  • Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for application development, integration, and Salesforce Platform.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies and solutions integrating with existing systems.
  • Define and deliver 'as-is', 'to-be', and transitionary solution architectures.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify and proactively manage risk areas in the CRM/Salesforce domain.

Deliverables and Outcomes:

  • Implement CRM and Salesforce solutions, defining technology architecture and project delivery plans.
  • Establish best practices for CRM, Salesforce platform, and integration development, crafting functional/technical solution architectures.
  • Manage Salesforce environments and data refresh to support project delivery.
  • Design solutions for optimal performance, uptime, availability, scalability, operability, and maintainability.
  • Lead CRM architectural solutions for key initiatives and growth programs.
  • Improve understanding of business interconnections through clear architectural diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with architectural, security, and quality standards.
  • Produce solution design artifacts like HLD and LLDs for ongoing projects.
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet expectations, are practical, sustainable, and align with strategic objectives.
  • Implement IT strategy using relevant systems and technology, communicating effectively across initiatives.

Experience Required:

  • Proven expertise in leading and implementing Salesforce Sales and Marketing Cloud solutions.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking with a successful track record in influencing stakeholders and project teams.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing solutions across Legacy and modern technology stacks.
  • Proven track record in architecting and implementing end-to-end CRM solutions using various technologies including Cloud, on-premises data centers, PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, low-code, and Serverless.
  • Hands-on experience with solution architecture and technical designs, collaborating with technical SMEs, engineers, and delivery teams.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum/DevOps environments within dynamic, fast-paced settings.
  • Familiarity with collaboration in Agile and waterfall frameworks with both internal and external development teams.
  • Highly collaborative working style, proficient in tools like Jira and Miro.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce Sales, Marketing, and platform.
  • Knowledgeable in cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
  • Experience with Agile projects using Microsoft technologies.
  • Deep understanding of Middleware, integration technologies, and design patterns/methodologies.
  • Broad knowledge of Digital technology stacks including Content Management Solutions, Azure Integration Services, JSON, REST, SOAP, GraphQL, etc.
  • Familiarity with web, Digital, and retail technologies like CMS, E-commerce, CDN, WAF, Payment solutions, POS.
  • Experience delivering complex architectures in domains like ERP, Supply chain, CRM, HR, Finance, etc.
  • Versatile in working with both Legacy and modern technologies.
  • Proficient in architecture/design patterns, OOD, SOA, Event-driven architectures, and data architecture and modelling techniques.
