CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

We are looking for an Customer Service Representative. The Primary objective of this position is to receive and resolve a variety of customer requests and inquiries primarily through phone and email communication. Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism during all transactions. Excellent attendance is critical. The person must demonstrate the ability to comprehend and execute on-the-job training, showing motivation and the willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers involving a high level of quality assurance.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Required Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Working knowledge of WORD, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to type at least 50 words per minute
Preferred Education and Experience: 5+ years experience in customer service, EDI or equivalent work.
Required Language Skills: Ability to speak, read, write and interpret documents proficiently in English such as emails, instructions, and procedure manuals, and documentation information.
Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills such as counting, addition, and subtraction.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job involves highly repetitive work, especially involving dexterity, gripping, twisting, eye-hand coordination and movement of fingers, hands, wrists, arms, including the ability to assemble, handle and feel, while sitting for prolonged periods of time needing flexible back, neck, and knee bending movements. The job requires the employee, on a frequent basis, to walk and to stand on hard surfaces, such as concrete. The job requires flexible range of motion to reach, lift, carry, push and pull with use of hands, arms, knees and legs, and talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally, 25 pounds regularly and up to 20 pounds frequently. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. The ability to perform tasks in a sanitary environment including the prolonged use of safety equipment, such as, gloves, face mask, hair net, ear protection, safety glasses, and other safety attire and methods.
