This position will provide a professional training experience that will ensure a smooth and effective training program for New Hires. This position will work with leadership in preparing, facilitating, monitoring, and evaluating and documenting training activities in the company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Works closely with facility leadership to develop and implement new hire training program.
•Lead the training of new hire team members on safety, quality, and best practices.
•Assess training needs for new hire team members.
•Ensure newly hired team members are trained and made aware of all safety PPE requirements, evacuation procedures, and possible hazards pertaining to their specific location/position.
•Facilitate communications between newly hired team members, Area Leaders, Supervisors, & Human Resources.
•Actively participate in the coordination of the new hire orientation training sessions and facilitate the orientation training sessions.
•Conduct professional level plant tours for all newly hired team members.
•Coordinate with leadership on monitoring and reporting team members progress.
•Coordinate with leadership in the goal setting process for each newly hired team member.
•Help to resolve issues regarding the training process of the newly hired team members.
•Track and report on training outcomes.
•Provide feedback to program participants and leadership.
•Educate and assist leadership in the completion of all new hire retention procedures.
•Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
•Minimum H.S. diploma or equivalent
•Five years of manufacturing experience
•Planning and organizing
•Data gathering and analysis
•Ability to work independently as directed
•Proven work experience in managing multiple tasks
•Strong communication and written skills
•Presentation and facilitation skills
•Must have very good interpersonal skills (coaching, adaptable, positive, team player)
•Problem analysis and problem solving
•Ability to travel if needed
