Supply Financial Controller - Hull - Global FMCG Manufacturing
I am pleased to be working with my client, a globally recognised FMCG manufacturer and brand leader, to recruit a CIMA/ACCA fully qualified Supply Financial Controller. The role will be fast paced, requires a sound understanding and experience of the manufacturing/supply chain sector and strong leadership skills.
-Reporting into the UK Financial Controller, the role takes responsibility for all finances relevant/related to the factory and to lead and support five direct reports.
-Co-ordinate and delivery of the month end timetable resulting in the execution of monthly margin delivery, construction of the factory operating statement and communication of the financial results
-Monthly balance sheet reviews, fixed assets, stock accruals and prepayments, evaluation of capex, carry out financial appraisals
-Prepare and submit quarterly forecasts to the commercial teams, analysis of material variances
-This is a challenging, fast paced role requiring excellent leadership skills, a tenacious approach and a sound understanding of manufacturing in a factory, deadline driven environment
- You will be preferably CIMA/ACCA qualified and have demonstrable experience of working in a high volume manufacturing sector, preferably in a Financial Controller role
-Previously experienced in managing a small team, you have excellent leadership and motivational skills to encourage a team playing spirit in order to meet deadlines. Experience of managing projects will also be beneficial
-A high degree of systems experience will be required, SAP exposure desirable but not essential
-You need to have a tenacious approach, be intellectually robust and have the ability to lead and manage in an autonomous role, plan, prioritise and organise effectively. To employ flexibility to respond to ever changing business needs using innovation and improve processes where required
