Senior Account Manager - Cable Management Solutions - Birmingham

DP Building Systems are a well-established distributor of cable management, cabling and electrical wholesale solutions who cover the UK from their Birmingham and London offices.

We are a super-stockist for all our brands, which include Unistrut, Marco, Flexicon, Pemsa, Legrand, Halfen and Lindapter offering us tier 1 preferential pricing, support and partnership status.

In 4 years, we have experienced 67% growth, as such we are looking for an internal sale to join our busy Birmingham sales office covering customers through the UK.

The Role

  • You will manage existing customers as well as new business element of developing and growing new accounts
  • We have a large new business percentage; you will have opportunity to select the new customers you want to manage
  • Handing incoming sales enquiries
  • Building, developing and managing relationships with customers, as such the role could also have the opportunity to visit customers and suppliers
  • Processing orders and quotes using the company systems
  • Dealing with customer queries and resolving any queries
  • The role has opportunity to visit customers and suppliers

The Person:

  • Ability to work in a busy sales office
  • Experience working in a team and as an individual
  • Confident working with key performance indicators with an impressive track record in sales
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated, competitive with a passion for sales
