We are seeking a Graduate Program Recruiter to work out of our headquarters in Santa Barbara on a full-time 37.5-hour per week basis.

Summary

The Graduate Program Recruiter plays a critical leadership role on the centralized admissions team in respect to meeting enrollment targets. The Recruiter establishes, fosters, and maintains strong relationships with prospects and leads them from point of qualification to enrollment. The incumbent for this position ensures accurate and timely program information, advisement, and connection with critical resources is provided to prospects and serves as liaison between prospective students and program faculty, administrators, and other key constituents as needed. Under the direction of the Director of Recruitment, the Graduate Program Recruiter coordinates, reviews, and engages in recruitment activities in accordance with established strategies/processes and in support of the mission, values, and goals of Fielding Graduate University.

The ability to multi-task and prioritize work based on stated deadlines is also necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in admissions, marketing and recruitment fields; preferably in higher education. Master's degree preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in a front-line customer-relations and/or sales position, including office experience with data entry and high volumes of telephone and email communications.

Preference will be given to applicants with presentation and public speaking experience, as well as Salesforce experience in a higher education setting, particularly with Enrollment Rx or TargetX, supporting marketing and/or recruitment.

The ideal candidate will possess a professional, collaborative, and upbeat approach to their work. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines are all essential to success in the role. This position will require the ability to make decisions and successfully navigate in an ambiguous and ever-changing environment. Applicants should have the desire and ability to drive conversions and track inquiry and applicant progress through detailed usage and continuous updates of CRM database. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is necessary.
