Kier Specialist Services - Facilities Management is one of the UK's leading facilities management companies, our specialist and dedicated teams provide total facilities management (FM) solutions to both public and private sector clients.

These solutions include hard FM to help clients manage and maintain their workplaces including compliance, fabric, mechanical and electrical services. We also provide a full range of soft FM services such as front of house, cleaning, catering and security.

Maintenance Engineers

We are currently looking to recruit Maintenance Engineers to work upon a prestigious Technical Services FM contract we hold with the Ministry of Justice.

The successful post-holder will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, and reactive callouts. We are looking for individuals from varying skill sets including Mechanical, Electrical, Gas and Fabric maintenance engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

General fault finding and rectification.

Maintain up to date records of all work carried out on plant and equipment within the site manuals both hard copy files and electronic

Participate within an out of normal working hours emergency call out rota and be flexible outside of core working hours

Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues' clients, customers and work as part of a team

Deal courteously with clients, customers and the general public to maintain and enhance the reputation of Kier

Continually demonstrate an understanding and commitment to customer care

Ensure clear communication with customers, line management and office support staffKey Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience within a similar role

Holder of a full UK driving licence

Holder of relevant industry qualifications

Recognised apprenticeship, NVQ or equivalent training programme

Good communication skills

IT Literate Please note the successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check
