Accounts Receivable Team Leader

Permanent | Full Time Hours | 37 hours per week
The purpose of this role is to ensure all operations are completed as required in compliance with our Licence obligations, Terms & Conditions and company policy and to ensure standards of service are met within agreed timescales. Also, to proactively manage the AR team; ensure adequate cross training and up-skilling in line with Compliance requirements; monitor performance via team meetings and one-to-ones; recognize and support training requirements; ensure the AR business targets and objectives are delivered within agreed timescales. Responsibilities include but will not be restricted to:
-To manage the AR team to ensure they operate consistently in an accurate and compliant way to ensure timely completion of all AR processes
-To follow up on all exception reports where payments have routed to suspense account; to resolve issues preventing allocation to customer accounts and complete accurate transfer of -payments
-To proactively manage the resolution of complaints and queries to customer satisfaction
-Ensure all daily and weekly departmental reports are followed up and all actions as required
-To manage the updating and reconciliation of all Finance reports including Bank Reconciliation, Security Deposits, Suspense report, Refunds & Timing Difference
-Monitor and distribute all inbound communications received and respond within agreed timescales
-Ensure policies and procedures are followed at all times
-Update weekly and monthly KPIs
-To manage the AR team through ongoing meetings, 1-2-1s, Performance Reviews
-Management of the Department Diary to ensure adequate cover at all times
-Processing of POs and receipting of invoices
-Provide a high standard of internal and external customer services at all times
Your Skills and Experience
-Understanding of compliance and adherence to policies, terms & conditions and regulatory obligations
-Experience in Banking, Reconciliations, Month End Processes, lodgements and cash handling and a firm understanding of Financial guidelines and General Data Protection Policy
-Strong Customer Service ethos
-Firm understanding of HR policies and procedures
-Strong business reporting, analytical and numeracy skills
-High standard of IT proficiency; excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel package
-Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload to meet objectives
-Ability to create accurate reports & presentations including charts, graphs and visuals
-Strong awareness of individual and departmental needs, responsibilities and obligations
-Strong eye for detail and accuracy
-Problem solving skills
