Job Title: Team Manager

Location: Leeds

Salary: Depending on experience

About the role

Responsibility for a team of people ensuring that they are effectively managed. Coaching and mentoring each member of the team to ensure they are achieving their targets and productivity levels and managing any performance issues in line with company policy and client requirements.

What you will do

1. Inspire Action

Supports the Operations Director, Head of Remortgages and OperationsManager with delivery of the strategy and deputises for the Operations Manager in their absence

Take responsibility for actions and decisions and confidently delegates 2. Be Positive

Demonstrate responsibility to be flexible and adaptable across the company to meet the needs of the business

Proactively champion change and encourage the team to positively implement changes 3. Demonstrate Integrity

Ensuring compliance with the relevant regulatory/ legal requirements within your department

Resolve complaints where appropriate and ensure adherence to company complaints policy 4. Support your Team

Set Individuals objectives and carry out one to ones managing individual's performance in line with department policies

Proactively manage both good and poor performance to ensure consistent treatment of team members resulting in a high performing team 5. Drive Growth

Demonstrate marketplace insight by evidencing an understanding of the competition and industry trends

Participate in client meetings and present solutions and services that add value and meet client's needs 6. Deliver Service Excellence

Ensures the team provides a high-quality customer journey through their interaction with customers

Demonstrate an understanding of client SLA's to ensure the department meets the client's requirements

Your skills and experience will include:

To be able to deal with high level complaints

Confident outgoing personality and able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and clients

Good organisation and communication skills

Ability to coach and mentor individuals to get the best results out of them

Previous people management experience

Experience of handling change

Excellent presentation skills

Experience of Remortgage or Conveyancing environment would be advantageous
