The Front-End Developer role will consist of the following responsibilities;
Programming of new features and/or services required by the business
Converting designs from Marketing into working web-pages/applications
Development of unit tests to ensure optimal code coverage
Ensuring all assets and code is optimised for the web and mobile devices
Debugging and resolving any bugs/defects that are reported
Analysing work requests, estimating and planning for implementation
Lead in monitoring and reviewing application performance, with the junior assisting
Creating mock-ups and prototypes with the junior assisting
Develop and maintain functional tests, with the junior assisting in creating them
Lead the project/feature life cycle from initial idea to implementation and support with the junior assisting
Review team members code
Create and maintain technical diagrams and supporting information
Supporting members of the team
Assist the Marketing Department in realising all web-related marketing goalsIf you have over 2 years' experience working in Front-End Development and have experiences with the following skill-sets, we want to speak to you;
Excellent understanding of HTML5/CSS3
Understanding of mobile development/responsive design
Understand common UX/UI design patterns, best practices, and standard conventions
Excellent understanding of web standards and browser compatibility
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
Strong interpersonal skills experience with and enthusiasm for working in an agile environmentThis is working full-time Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, with the Junior Front-End Developer earning £27,000 - £33,000 and the Senior Front-End Developer earning £35,000 - £40,000 depending on your experiences. You must have your own transport due to the location.
