Part time Accounts Assistant

Seymour John, Shropshire, are working with a leading business in North Telford to recruit for a part-time accounts assistant vacancy to work on a job-share basis.
A reputable organisation in Shropshire, with free onsite parking. The business has received investment in recent years and is a growing business, which still retains a close-knit, friendly, culture.
We are looking for an experienced accounts assistant who is happy to commit to part time hours on a permanent basis. You may be looking for work/life balance, or for this post to fit in around other commitments.
Duties will include:
* Purchase ledger and sales ledger duties using Sage and Access Dimensions
* Bank reconciliations and setting up payments for authorisation
* Chasing overdue payments
* Processing expenses
* Logging invoices onto Access Dimensions and Sage
* Responding to queries
* Completing reconciliations
* Purchasing goods including obtaining quotes, gaining authorisation and ensuring stock levels are maintained
* Producing and maintaining spreadsheets and records
The ideal part time accounts assistant will have experience of working in a finance department. You should have strong people skills and be a confident communicator.
