Are you an experienced Sales Ledger Assistant, available immediately to begin a 6-month fixed term contract?

In this role, you will have responsibility for administering the Accounts Receivable process from beginning to end, from account set-up to credit control and payment allocation. You’ll need to be a detail-oriented individual who is happy working to deadlines as part of a fast-paced accounts team.

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

Experience within a Sales Ledger role

Excellent attention to detail

Reliable, trustworthy and thorough in approach to tasks

Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills

The successful candidate will be confident when communicating both in person and over the phone. This will go alongside excellent time management enabling the department to run smoothly.

Within this position, you’ll also be:

Raising sales invoices

Customer invoicing queries

Issuing credit notes and receipts where required

Allocating customer payments to accounts

Producing monthly customer statements

Credit control to ensure payments are being made in accordance with terms

Reporting on KPIs and cash collection / debtor day targets

Salary

£20k - £22k per annum, depending on experience.
