Do you have a wealth of relationship management or business development experience within financial services? Are you an accomplished, proficient individual with the ability to form and nurture strong relationships with ease? We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a well-established and expanding financial services provider, based in Birmingham City Centre.

This is an exciting time to join this thriving organisation and as such your role will be to proactively seek out, contact, introduce and then develop new and existing business relationships with a range of external partner networks and introducers. As a Business Development Manager, you will make regular outbound calls to prospective networks in an effort to establish relationships and arrange meetings, with a view to ensuring this organisation is added to approved supplier lists.

Experience of creating new business relationships, as well as developing and maximising existing relationships will be essential in this exciting opportunity. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the development of collaborative new business relationships, working closely with mortgage brokers and intermediaries.

With extensive consultative business development and relationship management experience, you will have the ability to engage partners strategically, and manage multiple high level relationships, whilst also identifying new business opportunities. You will be a natural and tenacious communicator, guaranteeing the highest quality of service throughout. You will be a skilled networker with the ability to develop strong business partnerships with ease, acting as the public face of this dynamic and boutique business at a range of meetings, events, conferences and seminars. You will manage and update the in-house introducer CRM database, ensuring key information is inputted with outstanding attention to detail.

You will need to have extensive experience in a similar business development or relationship management role in a professional services environment, ideally with experience of working in financial services or the mortgage market.. You will have a solution driven approach, creating opportunities and acting as an ambassador on behalf of the company. You will be collaborative by nature, keen to work with your internal colleagues to ensure success.
