Group Management Accountant - 12 Month Contract - Leeds

This is an award winning, well known, global business, with over just 20 years experience in their field. Although they have offices all over the world, they are headquartered in Leeds City Centre, in fantastic offices located close to the train station.
The business are now looking to recruit a Group Management Accountant into a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, and the successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Controller.
The key duties of this role will include:
Supervision of one Accounts Assistant
Overseeing the sales and purchase ledger function, bank reconciliations, postings of monthly journals including accruals and prepayments along with other duties
Balance sheet reconcillations
Cash flow forecasting
Review of four weekly payroll
Preparation of the year end audit file and tax packs and annual statutory accounts.
Assisting with ad-hoc financial and business projects as required
Providing ad-hoc support to Divisional Finance Teams as and when required.
The successful candidate will:
Be CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified - Essential
Have a minimum of 3 years experience in management accounts - Essential
Have excellent communication skills - Essential
Have an advanced knowledge of MS Excel - Essential
