Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

* To provide acceptable environmental conditions for client business

* Ensure high observance of Health, Safety & Environment requirements

* Ensure no impact to customer core business

* To ensure client business continuity is secondary only to that of life safety

* Develop business within customer budgets

* Maintain standards that will promote Spie to customers and find solutions to their concerns.

* Positive, proactive and an engaging team member

* Compliance with customer agreed SLA & KPI’s

* Be flexible in working hours and available for operational support as required.

* Liaising with customer representatives to deliver working requirements

* Support senior management in delivery of first-class service to customer including PPM & reactive programme through CAFM system and environmental conditions

* Provide specified reports as and when required

* Observe financial aspects of operational budgets ensuring correct cost centres applied

* Maintain high level of safety management including electrical system management

* Be diligent with utility usage, ensuring prompt investigation of any anomalies

* Ensure completion of tasks within customer timeframes with no impact on client business

* Comply with client security requirements including supervision of directly employed, specialist providers, temporary and contract staff

* Work closely with the management team and HR in dealing with employment relation issues in line with Spie’s company policies and escalating where appropriate.

Essential Qualifications,expereience and skills

• Sound knowledge of building infrastructure and services

• Experience with similar maintenance and supervisory duties including fault diagnosis, and rectification

• Experience in all aspects of general building PPM schedules

• Sound and in depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical and steam based systems

• Good working knowledge of building & fabric activities within academic and residential environment’s
