My client designs and manufactures control systems for military and civil communications, navigation and search and rescue applications. They are seeking someone who is experienced with customer interface and understands Root Cause Problem Solving within Quality or Aerospace.
*Support maintenance and improvement in QMS procedures and processes.
*Re-enforce Quality Culture through training, support and Internal Audit.
*Drive effective Root Cause and Corrective action through the organisation.
*Maintain customer communications - Customer Focal for assigned customers
*Manage an effective and efficient calibration system, ensuring control of cost.
*Tracking and communication of airworthiness changes, service bulletins etc.
*Introduction of software solutions for Quality processes, eg. Audit, FAI and NCR systems.
*Management of Records for Quality Department.
*Creation/Approval of Defect Investigation Reports and Scrap Administration.
*Maintenance of the Software Library
*Customer Reviews and Scorecard Management improvements.
*Calibration process standardisation and cost savings.
*Audit conducted and findings addressed to planned dates.
*DIRs, Scrap Certs, BMS documents and Software released within SLA
*Equipment Approvals current ref. airworthiness changes, service bulletins etc
Key Skills & Experiences
*Understanding of Aerospace, Quality System and Regulatory Standards.
*Knowledge of MRP and IT software solutions / implementation.
*Experience of Customer Interface.
*Understanding of RCPS techniques (Root Cause Problem Solving).
*EASA Part 21 and 145 trained (Airworthiness and Environmental).
*Proven program and time management skills, highly organised.
*Understanding of quality improvement tools.
*AS9100D Internal Auditor trained
