Our bulk fuels client is now actively seek an experience Construction Manager to oversee projects in the Bristol and North West regions.
You will plan and manage the programme of the construction of the New tanks and ancillary equipment in line with the investment programme, along with other minor projects.
Ensure that all work is executed on time and to budget/estimates and in full compliance with company standards and UK/European legislation.
Oversees the work of multi-disciplined contractor who conduct engineering activities.
Minimum 10 year experience in a Lead Field Supervisor role
Previous experience of working within MAH environments advantage.
Working knowledge of Pipeline, COMAH, MOC, and CDM regulations.
Multidisciplinary brownfield project experience on pump stations/compressor stations, above ground installations, pipework and pipeline upgrades.
Full knowledge of CDM 2015 regulation.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to present important key messages succinctly and persuasively to decision makers.
Interested in other disciplines outside own area of expertise, able to make valuable contribution to discussions.
Highly desirable experience
Considerable experience in the oil industry or similarly regulated environment, ideally COMAH.
Project experience on electrical, control and communications works.
Previous experience of managing multiple site works.
Knowledge of legislation relating to ATEX, API 1160, PD 8010, BS 7671, ASME B31G, PSLG and COMAH.
Able to use KPI's to good effect.
