Accounts Clerk - Holsworthy

The main focus of this role will be on accounts preparation for partnerships and sole traders, with some limited company clients. You will also prepare basic tax returns and VAT returns.
*Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies and draft the associated tax
*Prepare VAT returns.
*Accurately complete all assignments within agreed timetables to ensure assignments are completed
*Investigate and resolve, where possible, problems arising during the assignments and notify your
supervisor of unresolved problems to ensure they are addressed on time.
*Record work in a clear and concise manner to allow other team members to clearly understand the
*Keep Supervisors, Managers and Partners up to date on all dealings with clients.
*Maintain time recording on client affairs on a daily basis in accordance with the firm's procedures.
*Ensure computer skills are developed and maintained to ensure effective completion of work.

*Experience of Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word and Outlook.
*Experience of accounting packages such as Sage, Xero or QuickBooks Online.
*Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with colleagues and clients.
*Ability to work independently, or as part of a team.
*Organised and able to plan time efficiently in order to meet deadlines.
*GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English Language.
