POSITION: Technical Sales Person

SALARY: £30-35k depending upon experience

BENEFITS: Company Pension, Holiday entitlement is 20 days per annum (May-April)

HOURS: Permanent, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

LOCATION: Harlow, Essex, CM19 5TD

Due to continued success the company is seeking to recruit an Technical Sales Person. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well regarded company.

In this role you will follow up technical sales enquiries dealt with by the Technical Manager, to the point when the lead can be handed over to the external sales person to close the sale/specification. You will filter calls from builders merchants and the general public by either providing advice yourself or by passing on the enquiry to the Technical Manager.

Previous technical experience in the concrete repair and screeding industry is desirable. Enthusiasm for acquiring and accumulating technical knowledge is essential.

Principal Tasks and Accountabilities:

Manage new and existing leads.

Understand and manage the companies CRM.

Enter all relevant information regarding leads and opportunities onto the CRM data base.

Offer customers a technical solution that best satisfies their needs in terms of technical specification, with support from the Technical Manager as appropriate.

Solve customer problems in terms of technical solutions and design of custom-made products, with support from the Technical Manager as appropriate.

Attend and actively contribute to Sales meetings to keep colleagues informed about sales leads.

Attend occasional site visits and customer meetings in order to provide technical expertise for the product range.

Maintain appropriate levels of sales literature, instruction manuals, certification booklets and evaluation reports for your product range.

Ideal Candidate:

Previous technical experience in the concrete repair and screeding industry is desirable.

Possess a proven track record in sales.

Have excellent communication and customer service skills.

Be organised and have a high level of attention to detail.

Knowledge of IT would be an advantage.

Live within a commutable distance.
