Panoramic Associates are thrilled to be partnered with this established Lloyd's syndicate in their search for a Compliance Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity affording amazing careers prospects to the successful individual.
This is a well-rounded role where you will be involved in various remits of compliance including:
Complaints; oversight of DUA and Claims TPA handling of complaints; maintenance of register; review and update of complaints policy and assisting with updates to POG)
Point of contact for DUA & Claims TPA due diligence, and annual reviews
Conduct risk / product approvals
Monitoring weekly underwriting exceptions reports; and assisting with financial crime and sanctions matters, including pre-bind screening.
Coordinating all Lloyd's and Lloyd's Asia returns, and updating compliance calendar
Maintaining SMCR governance map(s) and approved persons registers, and assisting with compliance with fitness and probity policy, applications to regulators, and completion of necessary template letters
Coordination of compliance risk assessment and production of compliance plans and reports
Coordination of quarterly compliance updates to management and boards of directors
Contribute to quarterly regulatory update
Assisting legal counsel in mapping and review of compliance with Lloyd's Minimum Standards and production and roll-out of relevant policies
My client is seeking a dynamic, self-starter who has a "hands on" approach. You ideally need at least 5 years' compliance experience from a London market/Lloyd's background. If you have a Law degree that is also highly desirable.
The role is offering a considerable amount of autonomy and you also have the opportunity to be part of the boarder legal team. They have a friendly and highly supportive working environment. Along with a competitive salary they are offering a discretionary bonus + 10% pension along with various other benefits.
