We are recruiting for a large FM client who is seeking a building services HVAC maintenance engineer / Commercial Gas Engineer to work on a prestigious contract across the Greater Manchester area. The work will cover the general upkeep and maintenance of Commercial Boilers and HVAC plant kit. The candidate will be from the HVAC or Gas services sector with experience of FM and maintenance contracts.

On Offer:

The position is Permanent position paying circa 35k for a full multi-skilled engineer

Mon-Fri circa 40 hours per week

Overtime

Vehicle provided

Job Description:

Your role will be to complete the Commercial Gas and HVAC Maintenance. You will cover planned and unplanned work requests to ensure a safe service with minimum disruption to the operation of the client. The main aspects of the role will be to:

* Deliver a responsive breakdown and planned preventative maintenance service

Equipment covered:

Burners and combustion plant

Pumps and valves

Tanks and cylinders

Boilers

AHU's and venting

AC and Splits

Chillers

Fan Coil Units

General Air conditioning

electrical, controls and BMS

* Work to all H&S policies / procedures and safe systems of work for Estates related works in accordance with statutory requirements

* Complete project works / small works and refurbishment

* Assist in with of M&E engineers on the Building Services plant and kit

Person Specification

An suitable mechanical Apprenticeship and a City and Guilds or equivalent is required for this role.

The successful candidate will have experience in mechanical plant maintenance within a large organisation coordinating and general HVAC maintenance.

Commercial Gas Coding

of Commercial Boilers

Ideally F-Gas and refrigeration

Experience of AHU's, venting and fan coil units

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Familiar with FM and Building Services

Ideally sound electrical skills

Willingness to take ownership of the maintenance and develop within the position

Willingness to complete general maintenance tasks

Valid Driving license
