You will be working within the CES department at HMP Send, who deal with the sorting of dirty clothing and bedding which then gets bagged and sent to be cleaned, and then to restock shelves on their return. This will also involve working with prisoners so the individual will have to be strong minded.
Duties will include, but won't be limited to:
- Receipt in and check goods for the client
- Ensure that deliveries are dealt with promptly and efficiently
- Respond to routine queries from the Client
- Input and process data in accordance with procedures, both on a computer and in paper based form
- Deliver excellent customer service at all time
- Knowledge of working with computers is essential
- Driving company vans around site.
No specific qualifications required but a background in warehousing would be beneficial to the candidate, as well as a full clean manual driving license. Ideal candidate will be able to use computers and pick up new applications quickly and also have the ability to record stock accurately.
To be able to work with our client, you must be able to pass the standard security vetting process for the establishment. This will include a criminal records check (Standard DBS). An offer to start in the position will be dependent on all security checks being passed.
