Area Sales Manager - West and Northern Wales

The ideal candidate should have experience in technical sales, preferably in capital plant maintenance, industrial coatings or a related discipline. You should have excellent negotiation skills and be able to communicate with customers at all levels.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for servicing, developing and expanding the companys business in your area. You must have excellent computer, communication and presentation abilities. You must be practical, logical, methodical and diligent.
Based from home, the role involves extensive travelling within your territory, due to the size of your area you will be required to stay away from home at times, candidates who cannot accept this requirement should not apply.
Full training in the product and business activities will be given.
On offer is an attractive basic salary, unlimited commission on sales generated, a fully expensed company car (except private mileage) and all the usual company benefits.
1. Promoting the companys activities to consultants/customers within your sales area.
2. Visiting customers to provide technical and sales support and generate orders.
3. Maintain and update the customer database, within your area. In some areas this will require significant effort.
4. To enhance customer contact with existing customers and develop new customer contacts within your territory.
A highly motivated individual to further develop and expand our existing client base throughout the West of England. The successful applicant should have a sound technical background, preferably with engineering, repair and maintenance services, or heavy duty coatings.
The ability to demonstrate a successful sales track record in a service based business is essential.
