Senior Loan Manager

North West based with a healthy salary upto £40,000

My client is looking for a savvy, personable, sales driven "relationship builder" to join their team to support the head of lending to promote and deliver lending products and support the Rosebud Fund accorss Lancashire. You will be providing a range of alternative finance to SME's. You will use your business expertise to support strenghten and develop the existing cusotmer base by maximising key social and contract outputs.

Essential Skills:

Credit Assessment and decision making

Excellent communication skills to ensure clarity with clients around requirements and decisions

Strong verbal and presentation skills to deliver recommendations to Loan Assessment Panels

Key Skills:

Excellent written report and communication skills,

Able to communicate at Director level and above with clients and partners.

Presentation skills

Experience:

Financially astute preferably holding Diploma in Lending Skills or equivalent.

Experience of managing a loan book.

An understanding of the wider economic and financial outlook

Knowledge:

Banking or Finance sector

Knowledge of the CDFI sector and Alternative Finance Market - would be an advantage.

Along with motivation and great commercial acumen, you'll have experience in building strong and successful relationships at all levels with an existing knowledge of credit risk and credit processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide a high level of credit stewardship and operational risk management across your portfolio

Support the Head of Lending with the communication strategy for stakeholders, key internal and external partners to develop new and existing relationships, to maximise referrals, and drive lending and investment to create and safeguarding jobs.

Identifying opportunities to develop the business

Managing activity within the agreed communication strategy within the team to enhance the profile of the business both within GM the North West and Nationally.

Maximise marketing opportunities through networking and case studies by working effectively with the Marketing Manager.

Ensure all responsibilities under Treating Customer Fairly are met.

Manage the business Loan Assessment Panel.

Find the best possible solutions possible for your client

Help us generate new business, reach our financial targets and develop our client base in a sustainable and responsible way

Design and deliver strategies to identify sources of new business, and manage and grow existing relationships
