IT Advisor - to be responsible for providing support to the UK and European colleagues and partners. Supporting the local IT business providing administrative and organizational support for project and technology activities so not just 1st Line support - they are looking for an ambitious individual who loves to learn and develop

Business as Usual activities

* 1st line support for the Business Desk side and remote support staff in the field (including branches and the retail store)

* Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners

* Monitoring and maintaining computer systems & networks

* Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests

* Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)

* Setting up accounts for new users

* Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary

* Testing new technology

Project work

* Aiding in creating project documentation

* Ongoing involvement in projects

*

Technical background

* Good understanding of AD (Active Directory) and Group policies

* Comfortable working with Exchange 2016

* In depth knowledge of Windows 7 & 10

* Good knowledge of office 2016 and O365

* Web application support e.g. SAP at 1st level support

* Cisco experience desirable. A clear understanding of networks is required

* Experience understanding and installing AV equipment

* Good understanding of IP Telephony

* Aiding in creation and maintaining Technical documentation

* Prince 2 or APM qualification desirable

* Degree in Computer science / Engineering or equivalent desirable
