Based close to Cambridge we are an internationally renowned manufacturer of instrumentation.
·A graduate in a technical discipline with a strong commercial leaning
·Experience delivering long-running projects for customised solutions with international clients, preferably in the field of instrumentation
·Demonstrable success in the management of internal and external stakeholders
·An understanding of product development cycles and the ability to work with design and development teams
·You will be personable and work well in teams; proactive and capable of working with the minimum of direct supervision.
·A working knowledge of engineering drawings and is essential.Experience with CRM Systems and Intrinsically Safe Certification is an advantage.
·International exposure and / or language skills would be a benefit
About the Role
·The primary function of this role is to coordinate later-stage larger bids and subsequent delivery to committed cost, time and quality targets
This role will involve close liaison with our Polish Manufacturing team, customer project teams and, in the case of new product or custom solutions, close liaison with the internal Design and Development Teams
You be responsible for the achievement of project milestones, including overseeing the timely issuing of invoices and subsequent customer payments.
·Additionally, this role will support activities such as:
Management of Vendor Approvals
Development of the CRM system to support the overall sales effort
Ad hoc Project Management support for the Design and Development Teams
