Title: Quality Project Leader

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Broughton - onsite requirement

Pay rate: £35 per hour.

An esteemed aerospace firm in Broughton seeks a Quality Project Leader to join their innovative engineering team. Renowned for pioneering contributions to aviation and serving top industry names, this company is a global leader in aerospace technology, committed to excellence and innovation.

You will join the aircraft project development team as part of the Project Multi-Functional Team. Lead the Quality project ensuring project success. Engage with the Single Aisle Programme Quality international team, shaping future projects and processes. Gain valuable experience working in a cross-functional environment, enhancing leadership, teamwork, networking, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage the Quality project for assigned New Development projects, including defining and planning quality activities, allocating resources, and implementing governance and monitoring.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Quality, guiding the project team towards achieving "quality right the first time".
  • Coordinate with all Quality Functions involved in the project, facilitating interactions with Airframe, System & Powerplant Programme Teams.
  • Implement and monitor preventive activities to ensure "Quality Right First Time," emphasizing adherence to Quality Standards and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
  • Prevent non-quality by setting and monitoring specific Quality project targets and ensuring proper implementation of preventive and corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Strong Project management skills and competence
  • Experience in Quality, competence in Quality Standards such as Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Key Characteristics/Critical Items (KC/CTI), Control Plan, Measurement Systems Analysis, Statistical Process Control.
  • Competence in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
