Service Design and Transition Manager - ITIL/ITSM
Permanent €45,000 - €70,000
Malaga, Spain - Full time - 3 days per week onsite.
MUST have correct RTW Visa for working in Spain - No sponsorship available.
Relocation Package available.
Fluent English speaking and written - Spanish would be a benefit.

Our ideal candidate would be an experienced Service Transition Manager, however we will consider CVs of vibrant, highly commutations energetic Service Delivery Managers, or Service Managers who want to work in Transition. Candidates who have strong ITSM/ITIL backgrounds.
As a Service Design & Transition Manager, you will play a crucial role in the introduction of new or modified services from the development phase to operational deployment. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a good understanding of IT service management principles. You will be responsible for coordinating various teams and stakeholders to guarantee that the design and transition process aligns with organisational goals and meets customer and end user expectations. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive service catalogue that aligns with business goals and supports effective IT service delivery.

Day to day roles and responsibilities:
Service Design
Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into service design specifications.
Develop service design documentation, including service operating models, processes, technology, information and workflows
Ensure that service designs are scalable and adhere to industry best practices, comply with relevant standards and align with Business strategy
Integrate service design in to the broader IT Service Management department
Provide guidance and education to stakeholders and the wider business around the role of service design
Monitor and evaluate the performance of service design

Service Transition Management
Lead the planning and coordination of service transitions, working closely with project managers, development teams and other stakeholders
Develop comprehensive transition plans when required, including timelines, milestones and dependencies
Identify and assess potential risks associated with service transitions and develop mitigation strategies
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Support Operations, Project Management, Engineering and Service Design to ensure alignment and understanding of service transition activities
Communicate effectively during service transition to ensure stakeholders understand progress and have their expectations managed while also having their concerns and input addressed
Monitor and evaluate the performance of service transition
Service Catalogue Management
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify and define IT services offered by the Business
Develop and maintain a detailed and up to date service catalogue, including service descriptions, service levels, service owners and dependencies
Establish and enforce governance processes for maintaining the service catalogue, ensuring accuracy and relevance
Promote the use and adoption of the service catalogue among end-users, IT teams, and other stakeholders.

What you'll bring to role:
Minimum of five years' experience working in an IT service management environment
ITIL® certification an advantage
Experience of project management
Good response under pressure and ability to quickly react to changes and to adapt strategies and priorities accordingly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to relate effectively to users at all levels and careful attention to detail
Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
