PeopleSoft Technical Specialist

Location: London - Bishops Square
Type: 12-month Contract
Salary: Up to £500 per day (depending on experience)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days working from home, 2 days in the office - every Tuesday and every second Thursday)

About the Role:
We are seeking a PeopleSoft Technical Specialist to join our team for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will be part of a small team responsible for supporting and enhancing our global Human Resources Information System: PeopleSoft HCM 9.2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on small enhancements to large projects within PeopleSoft application development.
  • Collaborate with various business areas to understand requirements and contribute to team priorities.
  • Support the HR Systems functional team and users during testing phases.
  • Provide 2nd/3rd line support to the HR Systems Helpdesk team.
  • Analyze and resolve day-to-day issues, finding appropriate workarounds and solutions.
  • Liaise with in-house and external teams to resolve cross-system and infrastructure issues.
  • Offer support and advice to the BI Reporting team.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of PeopleSoft technical development experience.
  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and HR business processes.
  • Strong PeopleSoft technical skills, including knowledge of object-oriented PeopleCode and Fluid development.
  • Attention to detail, self-motivation, and proactive approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexible approach and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Event Mapping, Page and Field Configurator, and Fluid Activity Guides.
  • Understanding of integration technologies.
  • Experience with Selective Adoption and PUM.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server databases.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
