Job Title: Global Mobility Specialist, EMEA
Location: Shoreditch (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months contract initially

What you'll do:

  • Act as an immigration and relocation subject matter expert and program manager for the region, adhering to globally established processes and policies, while creating and championing for local nuances where necessary.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for global HR business partners, talent partners and hiring managers for employer-sponsored immigration matters and international relocations.
  • Advise HR business partners, talent partners and hiring managers on the immigration needs of prospective candidates and current employees, to ensure Global Mobility functions as a key component of the global talent acquisition and retention strategy.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (ie Legal, Employee Resource Center, Payroll, Compensation, etc.) as needed and directed by GM manager and program owners to ensure thoughtful administration of immigration and relocation program in respective region.
  • Liaise with employees, candidates & managers on immigration and relocation inquiries.
  • Manage the delivery of mobility services per processes established by client's global mobility program owners in immigration and relocation.
  • Keep meticulous records of region and/or country-specific processes and nuances and update GM resources.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to employees as needed.
  • Create assessments and cost projections for assignments and permanent transfers based on the existing framework and policies.
  • Vendor management for regional immigration and relocation support teams including regular meetings.
  • Prepare training material and provide training and education to internal stakeholder partners.
  • Process global mobility related invoices as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all members of the team, customers, clients and all service partners though timely, accurate and professional communication.
  • Provide and receive coverage for regional counterparts as needed.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance the program at both local and global levels.

What you'll need to success:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a global mobility role.
  • Strong immigration knowledge for the EMEA region (UK, Switzerland, France, Germany in particular).
  • Experience with intern immigration and supporting global mobility for university programs.
  • Must possess a strong understanding of the complexities of global mobility that touches EMEA.
  • Solid understanding of international HR and international compensation and benefits.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management, planning and organizational skills.
  • High level of professionalism, personal integrity and dependability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver on multiple competing priorities.
  • Must possess the ability to understand the downstream HR, financial, systems and customer service implications of actions taken.
  • Ideal candidate will be able to identify, prioritize, and manage through to completion multiple deliverables simultaneously and with minimal guidance.
  • Candidate will demonstrate ability to learn quickly and deal successfully with ambiguity.
  • Ideal candidate must be resourceful, adaptable, self-motivated, and a trusted advisor to clients at all levels of the company.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Human Resources or related field.
